The National Anthem for the fictional Empire of Axeral.

The Axeral Empire is the setting for the Oxide Chronicles, an adventure/fantasy novel currently being written by S_Sakordit.

"‘Listen, a thirst for vengeance is the last thing someone like you needs. It butchers you on the inside, and in the end, even if you get what you want, you won’t ever be happy.’

Those were the words that prisoner said to detective Vylwenis Falkien, just after murdering all of his men and escaping. The images of their bodies rusting, their faces disintegrating, his hand turning into ash... The scene never left his head. And ever since that moment, the Imperial Capital of Sylira, once a mighty beacon of order, became plagued by murderous chaos. Gruesome deaths of innocent humankind and elfdom alike became commonplace, both by slaves rebelling and by unknown circumstances. Not even the Dragon Administration can (or wants to) do anything about it.

Knowing it had to have something to do with what he saw, Falkien decides to become a Rose Knight, to gain the authority and skill he needs to solve and hopefully end this horrible case."
